Adult Choir

The High Street United Methodist Choir is a fun, highly accomplished group of singers from the church congregation. The director for the past 31 years has been J. Chris Moore, the Executive Director of The Springfield Arts Council. The choir is accompanied by Carolyn Bode.

The choir sings each Sunday morning throughout the fall, winter and spring. Members of the choir provide special anthems during the summer. In 1999, the choir toured Germany around the area of Wittenberg, the Springfield sister city in Germany. The rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 8:30.
